The Tastiest Parmesan Cheese Crisps Ever
Made with only 4 ingredients, parmesan cheese crisps are the perfect appetizers or snacks for your dinner parties or movie nights, or as a garnish for your salads, soups and pasta dishes. If you’re looking for a low-carb alternative to potato chips, then this might be something for you! Serve alone or with a delicious salsa and enjoy a carefree night with your family or friends.
(yields +- 9 crisps)
50g (½ cup) of freshly grated parmesan cheese
How to Prepare
Pre-heat the oven at 180°C (350°F)
Grate the parmesan cheese and put in a bowl.
Add the black pepper, onion powder and dried basil to the cheese. Mix everything together.
Line an oven tray with parchment paper. Then make little heaps with the parmesan cheese on the tray, leaving at least 3cm (1 inch) between each heap. Press down until you have a really thin layer of cheese spread out in a circle-like shape (the thinner the better).
Bake for 7 – 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.
These parmesan crisps are delicious to serve as an appetizer or snack but can also be used to garnish your dishes. Add it to your soup or place on top of your pasta dish to give your dishes something extra.
